Some of the best freshwater fishing in Washington State!
Deer Lake (1163 acres): Located 3 miles north of Loon Lake, off Highway 395, Deer Lake offers a variety of species. Largemouth and smallmouth bass, crappie, perch, and planted rainbow trout are commonly caught, along with an occasional lake trout and a few kokanee. Resorts are available. Check the regulations for special trout size limits.
The deepest areas of Deer Lake are 75′. We have replacement tackle and bait at the Country Store and a Gas Dock for convenience. The lake is filled with inlets and varied bottoms and shorelines that make fishing more varied, not to mention the fabulous mountainous surroundings.
